Summary
The purpose of the Aquifer Protection Overlay District is to protect the Town of Dedham's water resources by preserving and maintaining the quality and volume of existing and potential groundwater supply and groundwater recharge areas within the town.
Description
The Aquifer Protection Overlay District defines the district as described in the Town's Zoning by-Laws where land uses have further constraints in order to protect the Town's water resources. The Aquifer Protection Overlay District is considered to be superimposed as an overlay district over any other district established by the Town's Zoning By-Law. Any requirements of the district are in addition to the requirements of other sections of the the Town's Zoning By-Law.
